Forward Intrinsic is an organizational diagnostic and risk consultancy run by Jonathan Larson, M.S., CFE. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, and who it is shared with. The short version is that this site is built to respect your privacy. It runs no analytics, sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own, and none of your information is ever sold. What follows is the honest, complete account, including the small number of outside services the site depends on to function.
The short version
- No advertising trackers, no analytics, and no behavioral profiling. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no session-recording software anywhere on this site.
- This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
- Your personal information is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
- A few outside services are used to run the site (hosting, the scheduling widget, and the AI behind the Risk Read tool). They receive only what they need to do their job, and they are listed below.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of forwardintrinsic.com and the features on it, including the scheduling section and the Risk Read tool. What we do not do
To be direct about the things people most often worry about: we do not run analytics or tracking software, we do not use advertising or social media pixels, we do not build profiles of visitors, we do not set our own cookies, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. The site was built deliberately to avoid all of that.
Information we collect, and why
When you simply browse the site
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify automatically records standard technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in server logs used to operate the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine this with any other information or use it to identify you.
To display correctly, your browser also loads the site’s styling framework from the Tailwind CSS content delivery network, which means that provider receives your IP address as part of a normal web request. It is not used to track you, but in the interest of full disclosure, it receives your IP address when the page loads. The site’s fonts are served from Forward Intrinsic’s own site, so no font request is sent to Google or any other outside party.
When you use the Risk Read tool
The Risk Read lets you describe a metric and receive a plain-language read of the behavioral risk it invites. When you submit it:
- The text you enter is sent to a small server function on our host and then to Anthropic’s API, which is the AI service that generates the read. Anthropic processes that text to produce a response. Do not enter confidential information, trade secrets, or personal data about others into the tool.
- Your IP address is used briefly to enforce rate limits, so that no single visitor can overload the tool. These counts are stored only for short, time-limited windows and are not used to identify or profile you.
- If you choose to use the optional “send the metric to Jonathan” form, the name, email, and any company you enter, along with the metric you described, are submitted through Netlify Forms and emailed to Jonathan so he can follow up. That information is used only to respond to you.
When you schedule a conversation
Scheduling is handled by Calendly, an outside booking service. Calendly is not loaded when you simply view a page. It loads only when you click to open the scheduler, so no request reaches Calendly and no Calendly cookie can be set unless you choose to book. When you do open it and book, the name and email you provide, and the metric context if you came from the Risk Read tool, are sent to Calendly and used to create the meeting. Its handling of your data is governed by Calendly’s own privacy policy, linked below.
When you contact us directly
If you email or call using the contact details on the site, you share whatever you choose to include, and it is used only to respond to you.
Cookies
Forward Intrinsic sets no cookies of its own and uses no browser storage. The one place a cookie may be set is the Calendly scheduler, and only if you click to open it, because Calendly is not loaded at all until then. If you do not open the scheduler, you will not receive cookies from this site.
The outside services we rely on
These are the only third parties the site depends on, and each is used strictly to make a specific feature work. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle any data they receive.
- Netlify, which hosts the site, stores contact-form submissions, and keeps short-lived rate-limit counts. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
- Anthropic, whose AI generates the Risk Read from the text you enter. See Anthropic’s privacy policy.
- Calendly, which powers scheduling. It loads only when you click to open the scheduler, at which point it receives your name and email and may set its own cookies. See Calendly’s privacy policy.
- The Tailwind CSS CDN, which serves the site’s styling framework and receives your IP address as part of that request.
How your information is shared
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising or marketing by anyone else. It is shared only with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent needed to run the feature you are using. It may also be disclosed if required by law, such as a valid legal request, which is a standard exception in any privacy policy.
How long information is kept
Contact details and messages you send are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a normal record of correspondence. Rate-limit counts tied to an IP address are stored only for short, time-limited windows and then age out. Server logs are retained by the host for a limited period as part of normal operation. Booking details are retained by Calendly under its own policy.
Your choices and rights
You are always in control of what you share. You can browse the site without using the Risk Read tool or the scheduler, and you can contact Jonathan directly by email or phone instead. If you would like to know what information is held about you, or ask that it be corrected or deleted, email Jonathan@ForwardIntrinsic.com and it will be handled promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the European General Data Protection Regulation, and the same contact address is the place to exercise them.
Children
This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Visitors outside the United States
Forward Intrinsic operates from the United States, and the service providers listed above may process data in the United States or other countries. If you use the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be handled in the United States under this policy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Because the site is small and deliberately minimal, changes should be rare.
